Hercai / Fickle Love

Set in the ancient city of Midyat, the story follows a complex tale of revenge and forbidden love between two powerful families: the Şadoğlus and the Aslanbeys. Reyyan is a beautiful, innocent, and idealistic young woman, the granddaughter of Nasuh Şadoğlu, the tyrannical patriarch of the family. However, because she is an adopted child, she is constantly mistreated and alienated by her grandfather. Miran, a wealthy and enigmatic businessman from Istanbul, arrives in Midyat to propose a business partnership to the Şadoğlus, but his true target is Reyyan, whose hand in marriage he formally requests. In reality, the marriage is the core of a brutal revenge plot. Miran was raised by his ruthless grandmother, Azize Aslanbey, who spent decades conditioning him to avenge his parents' deaths, blaming the Şadoğlu family for their tragic fate. The plan is simple yet devastating: Miran is to marry Reyyan, spend the wedding night with her, and abandon her the very next morning, destroying her reputation and shattering the pride of the Şadoğlu clan. The plan is executed perfectly, leaving Reyyan humiliated and heartbroken. However, Azize’s calculations fail to account for one critical variable: Miran has genuinely fallen in love with Reyyan. Tortured by guilt and realizing he has ruined an innocent woman's life for a lie, Miran turns his back on his grandmother's orders and fights to win Reyyan back. As the two try to build a life from the ashes of betrayal, they must navigate a minefield of family secrets, corporate warfare, and the shocking truths behind their own bloodlines to break the cycle of generational vengeance.
