Oya Unustası

Oya Unustası was born on 31 March 1988 in the Kadıköy district of Istanbul. Her family originates from Buca, in Izmir Province; her mother's side are migrants from Thessaloniki (Selanik), and her father's side from Bulgaria. She has two older sisters and an older brother. She graduated from the Flute Department of the State Conservatory at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, also taking voice training during her studies. After graduating she trained in acting and stage arts under Ayla Algan at the Platofilm studio. In 2013 she was among the top 20 finalists in the Miss Turkey beauty pageant. She began her acting career in 2010–2011 with a small role in the film "Kaybedenler Kulübü," and also played Duru in the project "İzmir Çetesi" and Gülben Tekin in the series "Sevdaluk." In 2014 she played Nergis in the ATV series "Beyaz Karanfil." She gained wide recognition with the lead role of Zeliş Gıpgıp in the 2015 summer series "Kalbim Ege'de Kaldı." She also won audience favor for the role of Ceyda in "Masum Değiliz" (2018), and that same year joined the cast of the historical drama "Diriliş: Ertuğrul" (Resurrection: Ertuğrul) after the storyline of Halime Hatun, played by Esra Bilgiç, concluded. She gained particular popularity for a role in the series "Hercai." She also appeared in "Biltmore Oteli Cinayeti," and in 2025 played Sibel in the Netflix series "Masumiyet Müzesi" (The Museum of Innocence). She currently plays Berrak — a character who holds secrets that change the fate of the heroine Zeynep and is the mother of the character Kader — in the Kanal D series "Güller ve Günahlar," starring alongside Murat Yıldırım and Cemre Baysel. She plays the piano and is also involved in horseback riding and dancing. In 2021 she married actor Ahmet Tansu Taşanlar.
