The series

The Turkish series "Aşk ve Gözyaşı" ("Love and Tears") is a romantic drama that premiered in the fall of 2025 on the ATV channel. The project is an official Turkish adaptation of the popular South Korean K-drama "Queen of Tears."

Due to unsatisfying ratings and internal difficulties on set (including changes in directors and screenwriters), the production of the series was ended early, finishing at episode 7.

The story follows the three-year marriage of two completely different people, which has found itself on the brink of divorce.

Behind the glittering facade of a luxurious life lie deep resentments, misunderstandings, and family pressure, which have turned the couple into complete strangers. Just as Selim is about to file for divorce, it is revealed that Meyra is terminally ill (with brain cancer). This tragic news forces the protagonists to rethink their relationship, giving them a second chance at love. However, the situation is further complicated by the return of Ercan, Meyra's former lover.
