Hande Doğandemir: trousseau is ready, but the couple is in no hurry to marry

On October 20, 2026, Turkish media, including A Haber, reported on comments by actress Hande Doğandemir about her wedding plans. At the wedding of Serhan Onat and Merve Küsmenoğlu, the actress, who is in a relationship with architect Emre İzer, answered questions about her personal life. She confirmed that her trousseau (çeyiz) is already prepared, but the couple is not rushing into marriage.

Asked about the wedding date, the actress said that she and her fiancé are in great spirits and that a good time will surely come. As for what her trousseau contains, she said it is very personal and declined to share details. Doğandemir also added that she is fond of the tradition of preparing a trousseau.

Doğandemir and İzer's relationship became public in July 2024. After a short breakup, the couple got back together, and in 2025 they appeared together at an event for the first time. İzer proposed in late 2025: in November, on her 40th birthday, Doğandemir shared their first joint photo on Instagram and confirmed that she had received a proposal. At the time she said everything was fine, that she had never hidden the relationship, and that there were no concrete plans or date for the wedding because she wanted a simple ceremony. The couple welcomed the new year in Paris.

Emre İzer was previously married to actress Şebnem Bozoklu: they married in 2010 and divorced in 2016.
