Plot: Set in the picturesque coastal town of Alaçatı, two sisters, Gülten and Nedret, manage a charming boutique hotel called "Mavi Dolunay" (Blue Moon) alongside their mother. Due to its prime location, the humble hotel becomes a hot target for wealthy real estate investors, though the mother firmly refuses to sell. Their peaceful world is thrown into chaos when Kaan, a charismatic businessman with a hidden agenda, arrives in town. Determined to buy the property at all costs, Kaan checks in under a fake identity. However, his plan spirals out of control when he inadvertently charms both sisters at the same time, triggering an absurd love triangle, family rivalries, and a series of hilarious misunderstandings throughout the town. Trivia: "Platonic" is a Netflix original romantic comedy series co-created and written by prominent Turkish comedian Gupse Özay and director Onur Bilgetay. Marking Özay's very first digital series project as a writer-creator, the show features a powerhouse main cast including international star Kerem Bürsin as Kaan, Öykü Karayel as Nedret, and Gupse Özay as Gülten. The 8-episode first season premiered globally in September 2025, receiving widespread praise for its unique blend of absurd humor, vibrant coastal aesthetic, and strong cast dynamics.
