Onur Özer

Onur Özer was born in 1993 in the Beyoğlu district of Istanbul. He graduated from the Media and Communications Department of Istanbul University; according to some sources, after not gaining admission to a conservatory, he took this alternative educational path and later completed additional acting training at the Faculty of Fine Arts at Marmara University. He performed on stage at the Cihangir Atölye Sahnesi theatre. He made his film debut in 2009 with a role in "Köpek Oteli" (Dog Hotel), and appeared the following year in "Son Hava Bükücü" (The Last Airbender). In 2013 he wrote and directed the short film "Barışın Kaçışı." He achieved his real breakthrough in 2021 with the role of Ramin in the popular series "Çukur" (The Pit). He later played Zülfikar in the Show TV series "Gelsin Hayat Bildiği Gibi" (2022). Besides acting and directing, he is seriously involved in photography — a passion since childhood — having completed several photography workshops and later opened his own studio, offering professional photography services.
